Rachel Hore

Elite mountain bike rider, Exercise Physiologist, Exercise Scientist, Mountain Bike Coach

Rachel Hore is an avid outdoor adventurer, elite level cyclist, and passionate advocate for women in sport, particularly cycling and mountain biking. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Exercise Scientist, and qualified Mountain Bike Coach, she has made significant contributions to health and fitness within the Upper Yarra Valley community.

With a lifelong dedication to cycling, Rachel has competed internationally in Gravity Enduro, as well as nationally in Downhill, and Cross-Country mountain biking. Her expertise, combined with her background in exercise science and physiology, deepens her understanding of the connection between physical movement, injury prevention, and overall well-being.

As an Exercise Physiologist, Rachel supports people across all life stages, helping them improve mobility and function. She is dedicated to assisting individuals in managing chronic conditions, recovering from injuries, and maintaining their physical health. Her presence in the Upper Yarra Valley  aims to fill a crucial gap in local healthcare, providing much-needed support for those seeking to lead more active lives.

Rachel currently operates her studio at the Yarra Ranges Enterprise Centre (YREC), where she intends to collaborate with a network of health professionals. Her work embodies a commitment to integrating exercise into daily life to enhance physical and mental well-being.

With a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology and certifications in strength and conditioning and mountain bike instruction, Rachel plays a pivotal role in promoting health and fitness in the Yarra Valley. She inspires women athletes to rise, compete, and challenge societal norms through sport.
